What is blood pressure?

Elevated blood pressure remains the No.1 risk factor for global death, causing strokes, heart attacks and other complications.

In 2021, an estimated 11.3 million deaths were attributed to raised BP which was completely undetected in most of the people.

A simple, one-minute check could greatly reduce this number.

May Measurement Month (MMM) aims to improve awareness of blood pressure globally.

If you are over 40 and don’t already have a diagnosis of high blood pressure you can visit your local pharmacy for a blood pressure check.
